Sustaining Founders receive all standard Annual Membership benefits, opening-year pricing locked in for three years from the date of purchase, and recognition as part of the Sustaining Founders community.
Membership Quick-Start Guide
Step 1: Create a CommunityPass Account
Access our CommunityPass Membership platform by clicking on any JOIN NOW link. On the first screen, select Create Account. Enter your contact information. You only need to do this once. Your memberships, waivers, and future registrations will be linked to your account.
Step 2: Add Household Members (If Applicable)
If you are purchasing a Household Membership, add all household members to your account before continuing. Purchasing an Individual Membership? You can skip this step.
Step 3: Complete Required Agreements
During checkout, you'll be asked to review and electronically sign the required: Membership Agreement, Waiver, and Youth Access & Supervision Policy. These agreements help keep our members and facility safe. Each adult in the household will need to complete the required forms.
Step 4: Choose Your Membership
Browse available membership options and select the membership that best fits your needs. Options include: Adult, Senior, Youth, Household; Annual, Summer Season, Monthly, Daily.
Step 5: Review Your Cart
Review your selections and proceed to checkout.
Step 6: Pay & You're Done!
Choose your preferred payment method: credit card or e-Check (if online). Or pay in person by cash or check at the Swim Center Front Desk. Once your transaction is complete, you're ready to swim! (Remember to bring a towel!)

Before Your First Visit
For a household membership, add everyone in your household before selecting the membership. First-time members will complete the required agreements prior to checkout. Daily memberships are not available online but must be purchased in person at the front desk. Staff and volunteers are available to assist, so please contact us with any questions. Before Your First Visit: 1) Register online before your arrive. 2) Bring a towel; towels are not provided. 3) Bring a swimsuit and any personal gear, such as goggles. 4) Check the Schedule; hours and days may change. 5) If you're bringing children, please review the Youth Supervision Policy.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a membership to swim?
Yes. The Lopez Swim Center operates as a membership-supported nonprofit. Membership dues and program fees provide the financial foundation that keeps the Swim Center operating year-round and helps fund lifeguards, instructors, utilities, maintenance, supplies, and the safe operation of the facility. Unlike many public pools, the Lopez Swim Center does not receive ongoing property tax support for its day-to-day operations.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes. We believe cost should not be a barrier to participation for Lopez full-time residents. Limited, needs-based financial assistance is available to qualifying Lopez residents.
What do I need to do before I arrive?
Register online before you arrive. Check the current hours and swim schedule before leaving home. Remember to bring a towel; towels are not provided. If you're bringing children, please review our Youth Supervision Policy. Questions? Call 360-622-POOL (7665).
Who qualifies for Resident Membership rates?
Resident Memberships are available to individuals whose primary residence is Lopez Island. A government-issued photo ID showing a Lopez Island address may be required. If Lopez is your second home or seasonal residence, please select a General Membership.
Are there facility rules I should know about?
Shower before entering the pools. Cleaner swimmers = Cleaner pools. Children must follow the Youth Supervision Policy. Leave glass at home: a single broken bottle can close the pools for everyone. Food is not permitted on the pool deck or in locker rooms. Review our Facility Rules for complete information.
Can anyone become a member?
Yes. Membership options are available for full-time Lopez residents, seasonal residents, and visitors. To get started, register online through our website or visit us in person.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. Memberships may be canceled or refunded in accordance with the Lopez Swim Center Membership Agreement. Please review our complete Membership Terms & Conditions for details regarding cancellations, refunds, membership holds, and other policies.
